Connecticut Light & Power reported no major outages in Southeastern Connecticut Sunday morning as a result of the storm. According to the utility company, 1,167 customers were without power as of 8 a.m. Sunday, with most of those customers located in New Canaan.

The Archdiocese of New York is celebrating the golden anniversary of Edward Cardinal Egan's dedication to the priesthood. Cardinal Egan was ordained as a priest on December 15, 1957 in Rome. He was ordained an auxiliary bishop in 1985 and later become the diocesan bishop of Bridgeport, Connecticut.
